Wrestling Revolution Arena Review & Gameplay Guide

I just spent the last few days playing Wrestling Revolution Arena and I have to say it's been a wild ride. I've always been a fan of wrestling games, and this one definitely scratches that itch. The game's got a pretty simple premise - you create your own wrestler and try to make it to the top of the wrestling world. Sounds easy enough, right? But trust me, it's not as straightforward as it sounds.

First of all, the gameplay is pretty solid. The controls are easy to pick up, and the wrestling moves are all pretty intuitive. I loved being able to customize my wrestler and choose from a ton of different moves and outfits. The game's also got a pretty cool career mode, where you can work your way up from the bottom of the wrestling ladder to the top. It's pretty satisfying to see your wrestler go from a nobody to a champion. The only downside is that the gameplay can get a bit repetitive after a while - you'll find yourself doing the same moves over and over again, and it starts to feel a bit stale.

One thing that really impressed me about Wrestling Revolution Arena is the level of customization. You can create your own wrestler from scratch, choosing everything from their appearance to their moveset. And I mean everything - you can even choose what kind of music they come out to, and what kind of entrance they make. It's really cool to be able to make your wrestler feel like your own. The game's also got a pretty active community, with tons of user-created content to download. I spent hours browsing through the different creations, and it's amazing to see what some people have come up with.

But despite all the positives, there are a few things that hold Wrestling Revolution Arena back. For one thing, the graphics aren't exactly the best. The wrestlers and arenas look a bit blocky and dated, and it can be a bit distracting at times. The sound effects are also a bit lacking - the crowd noise is pretty generic, and the commentary is basically non-existent. It's not a huge deal, but it would be nice to see some more attention paid to these areas in future updates.

Overall, I'd say that Wrestling Revolution Arena is definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of wrestling games. It's not perfect, but it's a lot of fun, and the level of customization is really impressive. Just be aware that the gameplay can get a bit repetitive, and the graphics and sound effects could use a bit of work. But if you're looking for a fun, lighthearted wrestling game to play on the go, this is definitely a good choice. I've already spent hours playing it, and I can see myself coming back to it again and again.

I think the developers have a good thing going with Wrestling Revolution Arena, and I'm excited to see where they take it from here. With a few tweaks to the graphics and sound effects, and maybe a bit more variety in the gameplay, this could be a really top-notch game. As it stands, it's still a lot of fun, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who's a fan of wrestling or just looking for a fun, casual game to play.
