Thronehold Kids Review & Gameplay Guide

I just spent the last weekend playing Thronehold Kids with my little cousins, and I have to say it was a pretty wild ride. At first, I was skeptical about the game, I mean the name alone sounds like it's trying too hard to be cool, but once we started playing, I was hooked. The gameplay is basically a mix of strategy and luck, where you have to build your own kingdom and defend it from monsters and other players. It sounds simple, but trust me, it gets complicated fast.

The graphics are definitely one of the strong points of the game, the animations are cute and the characters are all unique and quirky. My cousins loved the different monsters and characters, and they had a blast collecting them all. The soundtrack is also pretty catchy, I found myself humming the theme song for hours after we stopped playing. But what really impressed me was how easy it was to pick up, even my youngest cousin who's only 6 was able to understand the basic mechanics and start playing within minutes.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, the game has its flaws. The AI can be pretty dumb at times, and it's not uncommon to see monsters just walking into walls or getting stuck in corners. It's also pretty easy to exploit the system and build an overpowered kingdom, which can get boring after a while. But despite all this, we still had a blast playing it, and my cousins are already begging me to play it again. I think the key to the game's success is that it's just so relaxed and casual, it's not trying to be some super competitive esports game, it's just a fun experience.

One thing that I did appreciate was the lack of microtransactions, it's a huge plus in my book. You can buy the game and that's it, no need to worry about spending extra money on in-game items or currency. The developers also seem to be pretty active, they're constantly updating the game with new content and features, which is great to see. I've already seen a few updates since we started playing, and they've all added something new and interesting to the game.

As a gamer, I have to say that Thronehold Kids isn't really a game that I would play by myself, it's definitely more of a multiplayer experience. But with my cousins, it was an absolute blast, we laughed and argued and had a great time. If you're looking for a game to play with your kids or younger siblings, I would definitely recommend giving Thronehold Kids a try. It's not perfect, but it's a fun and lighthearted experience that's sure to bring a smile to your face.

Overall, I'm glad I gave Thronehold Kids a chance, it's not a game that I would have normally picked up, but it was a great way to spend time with my cousins. The game has its flaws, but it's also got a lot of heart, and it's clear that the developers are passionate about what they're doing. If you're looking for a fun and casual gaming experience, Thronehold Kids is definitely worth checking out. Just don't expect it to be the next big competitive game, because it's not trying to be that. It's just a fun, lighthearted experience that's perfect for playing with kids or just relaxing and having a good time.
