Snake Sort Game Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last hour playing Snake Sort Game and I've got some mixed feelings about it. At first, I thought it was just another one of those ridiculously simple games that you play for a few minutes and then forget about, but it actually has some depth to it. The idea is that you've got a snake that's trying to collect all these colored blocks, and you've got to sort them into different piles. Sounds easy, right? Well, it's not as easy as it sounds.
The thing that really got me was how the game starts off super easy and then just ramps up the difficulty like crazy. I was cruising along, sorting blocks like a pro, and then suddenly the snake starts moving faster and the blocks start coming at me from all directions. I died like five times in a row and I was about to quit, but something about it just made me want to keep playing. I think it's because the game does a great job of making you feel like you're on the verge of a breakthrough, like if you can just get through this one level, you'll finally get the hang of it.
One of the things that I like about Snake Sort Game is the way it looks. The graphics are super simple, but they're also really colorful and fun. The snake is just a little line that moves around the screen, but it's got this weirdly endearing quality to it. And the blocks are all different colors, which makes it easy to tell them apart. The music is also pretty catchy, it's just this upbeat little tune that plays in the background while you're playing. It's not too distracting, but it's enough to keep you in the right mindset.
But even with all the things I like about Snake Sort Game, I've got to say that it's not without its flaws. One of the biggest problems is that it can get really repetitive. I mean, you're basically doing the same thing over and over again, just trying to sort these blocks into different piles. And after a while, it starts to feel like you're not really making any progress. You'll get to a new level and it'll be like, oh, I've got to sort these blocks into five piles now instead of three. But it doesn't really feel like a significant challenge, you know? It's just more of the same.
I'm also not a huge fan of the controls. You've got to use the arrow keys to move the snake around, and it can be a little unresponsive at times. I've had moments where I've tried to turn the snake and it just won't turn, and then I'll crash into a block and die. It's not a huge deal, but it's just annoying enough to be frustrating. And sometimes the snake will get stuck on the edge of the screen, which is just weird.
Overall, I'd say that Snake Sort Game is a solid little time-waster. It's not going to win any awards for originality or complexity, but it's just a fun little game that you can play when you've got a few minutes to kill. And even though it's got its flaws, I'd still recommend it to anyone who's looking for a casual game to play. Just don't expect to be blown away by its depth or complexity, because it's just not that kind of game.
