Run Mario Run Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few days playing Super Mario Run on my phone, and I gotta say, it's a pretty cool game. I mean, it's not like your traditional Mario game, but it's definitely a fun little time waster. The basic idea is that Mario runs automatically, and you control his jumps to avoid obstacles and collect coins. It sounds easy, but it can get pretty challenging, especially as you progress through the levels.
One thing I liked about Super Mario Run is the graphics - they're really colorful and vibrant, just like you'd expect from a Mario game. The music is also catchy and fun, it's definitely something that'll get stuck in your head. The gameplay is smooth, and the controls are really responsive. I didn't experience any lag or bugs, which is great for a mobile game. The levels are also pretty creative, with lots of different obstacles and challenges to overcome.
But, one thing that kinda bugged me about Super Mario Run is the lack of control over Mario's movement. I mean, I get that it's an auto-runner, but sometimes I just wanted to stop Mario from running and take a second to think. It's not a huge deal, but it can be frustrating when you're trying to time your jumps just right. Another thing that's a bit annoying is the Toad Rally mode - it's basically a multiplayer mode where you compete against other players to collect the most coins. It's okay, but it gets old after a while, and it feels like it's just a way to get you to spend more money on in-game items.
Despite those minor complaints, I had a blast playing Super Mario Run. It's a great game to play when you're on the go, or just need something to pass the time. The levels are short and sweet, so you can easily play a few rounds during your lunch break or while you're waiting for the bus. And, the game is pretty generous with the coins and power-ups, so you don't feel like you need to spend a lot of money to progress. I did end up spending a few bucks on some in-game items, but it wasn't necessary - I just wanted to support the developers, I guess.
One thing that's worth noting is that Super Mario Run requires a constant internet connection, which can be a bit of a pain if you're playing on the go. I was on a road trip recently, and I couldn't play the game because I didn't have any cell service. It's not a huge deal, but it's something to keep in mind if you're planning on playing the game in areas with spotty internet. Overall, though, I'd definitely recommend Super Mario Run to anyone who's a fan of Mario games or just looking for a fun little mobile game to play.
Overall, I'd say Super Mario Run is a solid game that's worth checking out. It's not perfect, but it's a fun little distraction that's sure to put a smile on your face. If you're a hardcore gamer, you might find it a bit too casual, but for everyone else, it's a great way to kill some time and have a little fun. And, who knows, you might just find yourself hooked - I know I did, and I ended up playing way more than I expected to. So, if you're looking for a new game to play on your phone, I'd say give Super Mario Run a shot - you won't regret it.
